Sounds great! I'll be traipsing all over downtown San Antonio with a six-year old! Last year I did something like 15000 steps on my pedometer on Halloween! (one of the pluses in living in a pedestrian friendly area!)

They also have a kids monster dash, a 1k. Plus costume contest. I'm thinking I'll try for best zombie, I figure that a zombie would be a good match for my lack of speed. 
People will just think I take it really seriously and want to stay in charicture. That will be my story and I'll be sticking to it.
I have also found a Christmas race and New Years race. The New Years race the running club jumps in the ocean. Brrrr!!!!! I don't think I'll be up for that part.
