Hi Val, I just finished the CD version of your book "Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time". I listened to it going to and from work and really enjoyed it. I have a few recommendations for your IPOD...some of which you might already have. Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling; Lady GaGa - Bad Romance; Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride; Glee Cast Mash Up of Walking on Sunshine and Halo; Sammy Kershaw - She Don't Know She's Beautiful; The Proclaimers - The Doodle Song; Carlene Carter - Every Little Thing. I hope you find some here that you like. I have just finished up my 3rd week and am 10 lbs down. I have a long way to go - 65 more lbs but I am taking this journey one day at a time...no pun intended. Thanks for being and inspiration.

My best suggestion for the ipod is the nikesports+ (maybe it is nike+sports - not sure cause I'm too sleepy). It is a bluetooth like technology for your ipod and your sneakers. There are Nike sneakers that you put the device into and a sensor that goes into your ipod. It records your walks/runs. You can make playlists, shuffle music and choose a program based on calories, distance, or time. When you end your workout you download the info into your computer and it is sent to the nike site. You can create specific goals, make a virtual mini you, it sends motivational messages, and much more. It is awesome. I love mine and it is very reasonably priced. You do not need the special sneakers -the shoe sensor can be added to your shoe lace. Check it out online.
