I know I haven't posted anyhting in a few weeks! I kind of feel off the wagon. 1st there was vacation, then there was parties, then there was no money. But I am going back on Sunday and getting back into it. I won't meet my labor day challenge but I hope to meet my new years goal!
Good Luck everyone!

Rocky, CONGRATS on your amazing loss. how wonderful to just breeze through the 340's - you're almost in the 330's!! Keep going! You're so close to your LD goal!!
eferr - if you saw my previous post, i took quite a long break and hadn't been in centre for a quite awhile. BUT you're back at it and that's all that matters right! good for you! Let us know how sunday goes
Erin - its all a balancing act. Making it work to get your activity in and stay on plan. I know for me, i get motivated and work out a bunch. Then I lose that motivation bc i get bored and i just stop all together. I'm back at it and focusing on just getting out for short bursts. a walk at lunch. a walk around the block. Just try to be consistent and keep it manageable. AND - you still loss! i know you want more, but a loss is a loss!!
Nancy - i'm so amazed by your consistency! you are so close to your LD goal. Sounds like you had a great plan to do all jenny meals to help with your stress and busy schedule. Has that been working for you this week? Congrats on your 1 mile run!! so empowering! keep at it and you'll be running mile 2, mile 3, etc etc!
Hope everyone else checks in. Maybe i'll start a new thread next week so it shows up as new.
Happy (almost) Friday!!

Rocky, WOW! Fantastic week, again do it again. You can too.
eferr, welcome back, you can do it to.
For me I've mostly learned slow and steady. Other than the week I was off, walked 35 miles that week, I try to get out and do the walking and be consistent, that's the new goal. I'm old so I figure I better get this right for once. The rehersals are over for me. I think this is week 30 for me and so far I haven't had a week where I haven't lost, some, quite a few are only one lb but 1 lb is 1lb. I have done well sticking to the food and plan. This plan clearly was designed with me in mind. My JCC said in 10 years other than men, she never had a woman lose so consistantly. I made her take it back for fear she'd jinx me. I swear that's when I started to only lose 1lb.
THis week has been tougher than plnned, I got into a fender bender, got rearended. So I have taken it easier, just walking and a little strength trainning. A tiny bit of jogging. But I did get lots sqaured away at work so I'm feeling better at work. Speaking of which it's time to head to work.
Take care.

I assume it might have something to do with the fact that I was diagnosed and am being treated for strep. On top of that my 22 month old granddaughter had to be hospitalized for her strep infection and that was super stressful.
Last night I had a melt down and really ate some bad dessert things as comfort food. This morning however I went straight to the gym as planned and did 1 hour of Pilates and then walked on the treadmill for another 30 minutes. Afterward I went for my WI and told on myself and got right back to eating the right way.
I have to remind myself this isn't a sprint, it's a journey to a healthier, thinner me for the rest of my life. I'm bound to have good days and not so good.
Hope everyone has a good week and thanks SunDevil Gal for doing this for all of us!

How are you and the granddaughter doing? I hope your both feeling much better. I always know I have it when I just feel totally wiped out. So no wonder you fell of the wagon, when your really tired it triggers the hunger big time.
Had my WI this morning, finally got off me 1lb a week treadmill, I lost 2.2lbs. Apparently the energy work worked, plus I did all JC food this week, no MOMO. I was just trying to plan for a really busy stressful week. Good thing I did. I'm at 154.6lbs so I may make the 154 goal. But I can't take it for granted. I have to keep that steely eye toward me goal. But that's just me and it's working for me so I'm going to hang in there.
My DH and I are going kayaking today, it's his bday. Should be lots of fun. Have a great Sunday.

Thank you everyone for the support and kind words. Good luck to everyone with acheiving your goals. And if you don't make it to your original set goal, don't feel disappointed because you should still be proud that you're taking steps to be healthy.

Thanks for asking about me and Lily, we are doing much better. Congratulations on your weight loss last week, that is a lot for a week...good for you!
I'm doing better this week following the plan and have some things to get rid of as far as clothing that is too big so woo hoo!
I'll be interested to see how I do on Friday. Not sure I'll hit the full 25 lbs lost (funny when I started this I thought it'd be easy-ha!) for the Labor Day Challenge but Going from a size 14 to a size 8 is good enough for me in 3 months.
AND I look and feel entirely different now
Keep up the good work and thanks for your support!!!
Hugs

Robin, It's funny I thought just the opposite way, since I'm over 50. So maybe that's why I keep plugging away. Guess I feel like if I stop I'll never get back my momentum. I just have to keep plugging away at it till it's gone. By the way I now have collar bones, shoulders and fit in size 8 Lee pants today. I said fit, I'll need a week or two before I wear them in public. Glad you all are doing better.

Any thoughts of a new goal for New Year's? Can we start a new challenge if any of the same people are interested if they fell short of their goal?
