Trying to lose 10 at a time

I am coming back to Jenny Craig and have only been back for one week. I have lost 2.3 pounds. I have over 80 pounds to lose and am taking it in 10 pound intervals because if I look at how far I have to go I will definitely blow it! rolleyes.gif

Me Too!!!! I just wanna see the scale in the number lower... if in 250's was excited to see the 40's I'm trying to lose around 120-125 lbs more smile.gif Seem's soooo far away looking at it that way smile.gif
Week 1 -9.1
Week 2 -8.3
Week 3 -5.8
Week 4 -4.1
Week 5

122.6lbs left to go!!!

That is the best way to do it girls...seriously. I have read here where so many succeeded by doing just this...making small goals for yourself....and when you lose 10lbs reward yourself with a mani or pedi, massage, facial...something non food.

way to go girls! i am going to do that too i hadn't thought of it before4 but it seems like a good idea.. i have 148 pounds until my goal so it seems like it will take forever!! best of luck to you all!

I love this idea and tend to agree with you. I was told by my JC counselor not to do this but to look at the whole goal. I don't know if I am going to follow that advice though because I have alot to lose and it does get overwhelming.

I think looking at it in intervals of 10 is a great idea! I, too, look at it that way and my JCC and I always celebrate when I break into a new "decade" Wishing you all the best on your journey =)
