I'm 78 years old and was sceptical about losing weight. Especially because I can't exercise as much as I would like. Guess what? I have LOST 15 LBS, and am almost (just three pounds) away from my goal! I may even go for more. We'll see.

Best news? I am wearing a wardrobe I put aside about 5 years ago. It's just like getting new clothes.

Hope this inspires you a little.

Joan

Good for you, Joan! You must certainly be proud and inspired! Must have felt good 'shopping' in your closet for newer clothes. Congratulations and best wishes!

smile.gif Way to go, Joan. You are an inspiration. I just turned 67 on Friday the 4th and need all the positive motivation I can find. Can I be just like you when I grow up??

>Kathryn
Auburn, Washington
SW - 251
CW - 235
Goal - I am concentrating on 5% at a time rather than get caught up in the total lbs so much. I have lost my first 5% in the past two months and am settling in with the improved health feelings at each 5%.

Congrats, Joan! I am proud of you, too! I will be 64 on March 1, so I know how hard it is to lose after "a certain age." We just have to put our noses down, and we'll "get 'er done!"
