I'm trying really, really hard to remain positive and keep telling myself that "food is fuel," but after reading that there are NO NEW VEGETARIAN ENTREES on the horizon, I'm really getting fed up. There are four lunches. That's it. And two of those are pizzas. And there are six dinners, and four of those are pasta with tomato sauce. I'm starting to believe that the only reason there's a vegetarian forum on these boards is just so they can sequester all of the rants about how poor the vegetarian options are. I was so so excited to hear that there was a vegetable artichoke quesadilla coming. At last, I thought, one more option. But now that's gone. Why, when so many people out there nowadays are vegetarian (and yes, some of us are overweight and obese), are they not doing ANYTHING to make it a little easier?

I've got 60 more lbs to lose, but it's looking more and more like I'm going to have to do it on my own. I guess I'm glad I only signed up for the 20/$20 deal instead of the premium membership they were pushing me so hard to do. Wth, JC.

So, so, SO frustrated!!!!

Sorry.

Jenn, I feel ur frustration...although I eat meat, but nevertheless, i couldnt imagine NOT having but a couple of choices. Have you called corporate? I would write and call whoever to complain.....couldnt hurt.

Thanks Melissa. I think I will call corporate tomorrow - it's a good idea. Sorry for the rant - just hard not to start to feel like veggies are being ignored.

Whaaaaaa? They were going to do a veggie quesadilla?? Or did they do it while I was gone?

It is hard - and one of the reasons I left a year ago - but it does work, and I have been able to use dinners as lunches and lunches as dinners when I need to mix it up a bit. I eat fish on occasion, which gives me a couple of more options, but not many.

I wonder if there is anyone at corporate who would be sympathetic to our needs? I also wonder what the sales stats are for the meatless options - I would really like to know!

What if we try this? Nestle Nutrition is the source for JC (I think?) now. Here is their contact page:
http://www.nestlenutrition.com/Templates/t...CACHEHINT=Guest

Maybe if we wrote to them to argue for more meatless entrees, especially given the nutritional aspects of a vegetarian diet????

I too am a vegetarian and find it really hard. Lunches of Broccolli cheese baked potatoe and Pizza's is driving me nuts.
I have just emailed my complaint to them
