Well I wanted to wait awhile before trying on dresses...do I'm down 12 pounds and 8 inches. I was pretty happy with the weight lose until this weekend.
So I tried on dresses (IF YOU HAVEN"T GONE YET...WARNING...you try on sizes 2 dress sizes higher) and they had me trying on size 20. I'm really a 16. I was fine until I saw the pictures my friend was taking... YUCK. It was my worst nightmare. I was a fat bride!

I was in a much better mind set before this past weekend.
I do think I found the dress...however they didn't have my size. So I'm going this weekend to another bridal salon to try it on.
Why on this HAPPY MOMENT, do they make the sizes so small. You would think they would make the dresses larger...so if I'm a 16...maybe I fit into a 14...or here's a concept...my own size.
Luckily Casablanca bridal gowns do not discontinue...so I can wait until Dec/Jan before having to order it.
Ugh, I'm sorry. I can relate - I was the maid of honor in my skinny sister's wedding and the size I had to wear was a way bigger number than I liked. Furthermore I looked huge next to my tiny sister in all the wedding photos. If you can wait until Dec/Jan before you have to order your dress, I guess I'd say do it. Otherwise, you'll have many more tailoring costs when the time rolls around. I don't know when your wedding is, but you've made great progress so far and you can make even better progress before the wedding date rolls around - ****, you could even be down 50 lbs by December! Don't let the size number (and especially such an inaccurate one) rule you! Instead, let it motivate you even further. You can be one hot, smaller-sized bride come winter!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
