Thanks for updating the chart. 132.8lbs as a group, wow, that's higher than my official JC goal weight. That's a women in a size 8 clothes. In another week, we'll have lost Isabel, well not really, but the amount she weighs. No offense Isabel, I still want you around, but I say we lose you in lbs, or atleast the difference from last week to this week as a goal. Then you'll have to post a picture so we can see what we've accomplished.
We've also lost more than 3 Springer Spaniels. Most of all I can't wait till we lose me. I'll work on meeting us atleast 1/2 way. Okay, so I have 13.8 to go, we have 35 to my goal weight. So I need to bonus lose another 3.7lbs. on top of my goal.
It's wicked hot here, as we say in New England. So if I don't get out in the heat I better do wiifit so that I can lose myself. Can't guarantee a picture, I'm not that great with the posting but I'll try. So I say we try and lose ourselves this summer. Pretty funny thought. Who's next?
Take care and stay active.

Had my WI this morning and am down .9 lbs. I was hoping for more but since I am super hormonal and had a lot of stress last week I'll embrace the loss and focus on the fact I've lost almost 12 lbs in 5 weeks.
I'm finally getting over my upper respiratory infection, still have a cough but the rest is good. I went to the gym and did the bike for 1/2 hour today. Hopefully by the end of this next week I'll be up to 5 miles per day and down 2 lbs. I want to see a good drop at next week's WI.
Congrats to all you gals for keeping on. I have to remember this is a lifestyle change, not a temporary event and that once those lbs are gone they are gone for GOOD! WOO HOO!
Have a great week and enjoy your 4th of July with fireworks, friends and family and remember the food is just another prop...not the event itself
Hugs

SO motivating! In 5 weeks I've lost almost 14 pounds! I treated myself to a manicure/pedicure yesterday to reward myself for the .9 lbs I lost last week so the extra drop was a real bonus reward!!!!
It makes me a teeny nervous because now I know I can reach my goal...another 30 lbs to go. It's so exciting I want it to happen all at once.
This is proof that on those days where the scale won't budge that my body is still burning the fat and getting rid of it.
I also have been focusing more on drinking the water I need...really works!
Thanks for all your posts gals, it really helps to know we are all in this together.
Hugs
Robin

It's all mental like you said! Just keep thinking as you're eating and I think the more you catch yourself, the better you'll get at it!

Not as much of a loss as I'd like after 3 weeks (was off Internet grid for a time) but am happy to report I'm at 144.4. Lots of 4's - hopefully next week I'll add a smaller number somewhere in that
Enjoy your holiday weekend everyone

I am down 1.6 lbs this week. A little disappointed with that number but I had a 5 lb loss the week before so hopefully my body is just re-adjusting. I really have to get this body moving more!
So for this week I am on plan, drinking lots of H20 & taking the dog for long ravine walks every evening.
Fingers crossed
Happy Canada Day & 4th of July
Cheers

glad to see everyone is doing well again this week - it's so cool to see the chart with the losses just continually falling every week!!
I lost 3.3 lbs this week- I was psyched for that. I am planning on upping the exercise next week (seems like I say that every week...............but seriously I have planned for the time to make it to the gym next week) so here's hoping!!
Nancy, lol - I'm in RI and wicked hot is not even going to describe what this upcoming week is supposed to be - we might lose some lbs simply from going outside and melting it off from the heat!!! keep cool if you can
Have a happy and safe 4th of July everyone!!

Hope your able to get out and have some fun and activity today.
I'm watering a closed garden center today, 92 degrees, ugh. So I'll be there quite a while. Hoping to get my new kayak in the water today. YAY! I think I missed my opportunity to get my walk in this morning, the heat is already coming in. Forgive me for whining about the heat, since I'm out in it 8 hours a day, phewwww. Any advice from Southerners who put up with this kind of heat and humidity would be appreciated. I know get a new job, it has occurred to me this year. We haven't had this kind of heat in 8 years the weather people are saying on TV.
Everyone is doing great, I hope everyone is holding up in the summer weather. Brigit, how is the biking going? Are you still able to keep up in the summer heat? Allison, I hope July is going better for you. I'm getting my miles in getting ready for the half marathon so I think of you often. Isabel, my virtual partner in the half marathon, how are you holding up in the heat? Erin, the gym sounds like a good idea this week. I'll be doing more wiifit and DH is going to get my treadmill balanced for me so I can walk in my cool basement.
WI this morning, down 1.8lbs. Well I am off to the sweat shop as we now refer to it.

I got on the scale this morning and blipped up a pound but I know that's because I'm back up to 5 miles per day of walking and I've added some weight lifting in too. My muscles are swollen and holding water which is ok. I haven't been cheating on my food so I know it's just my body adjusting.
What's exciting is the difference I feel in my clothes and how I look. Frankly I wasn't willing to even leave the house when I hit my heaviest weight mid May. I had NO clothes to wear and I was mortified at how I looked.
Gaining 45 pounds in 2.5 years is pretty sad....due to maritial and financial stress BIG TIME.
Since I decided to do something about my weight I feel so much better. I've lost almost 15 pounds now and am exercising and eating right. I'm going home for a week to visit my mom so I've been planning around the trip, picking up my Jenny food at the local center as soon as my plane lands so I can continue to follow my program.
Each week I've rewarded myself for staying with the plan and losing weight no matter how small the loss. It reminds me I'm doing this for me and I'm the one who matters in this journey. I have no doubt I'll lose all 43 pounds by Oct 15 which is my 50th birthday.
Love the fact we are all working to the same goal of 25 pounds by Labor Day...WE CAN DO IT! WOO HOO!

I am finally back from vacation and have to admit: I was TOTALLY off plan! Icecream, Fries, burger, pancakes... not extreme but a little bit of everything and every day! And due to the sodium, humidity and flying I put on a couple pounds! I do hope though that they will vanish as quickly as they appeared!
Afterall: gaining 5 lbs in just 6 days would mean that I ate 7000 cal over my daily limit EVERY SINGLE DAY!
no way... definitely not! I think I had about 1000 cal over my limit at the most. So 1-2 lbs real gain! Anyway... only time will tell...
So my new stats for July 4th (week 7) are:
SW 263.4
Last weight (week 6) 254.0
CW (week 7) 259.4
difference: + 5.4 lbs
total lost: (4.0)
Lbs until Goal: 21.4
Arghhh.... sounds horrible! But as I said: I am hoping for a quick turnaround since I am back on plan since yesterday and feeling gooooood!
Have a great week everyone and let's rock this boat!!!! It's summer! It should actually be EASY to eat right since all the veggies and fruits are out there!!!
My current favourite: watermelon, cherries and fresh pineapple!
What's yours???
Cheers
Brigit

Blueberries! Love them and so does my dog. They just came into season here, YUM!
So with the best of intentions I got up to do a long walk. Well decided I should give the dog her walk first, we made it half way through her walk and we were both to hot to finish. Plus it feels like you have a brick in your chest if you get any speed up. So we hopped in the air conditioned car and went home. I decided it just doesn't seem healthy to walk today. So it's and air conditioned wiifit day for me. Plus probably for the rest of the week. Looking out it is surprisingly breezy, so I keep thinkingI should get outside and go, then I open up the door. UGH! I guess it's all the humidity rushing in to New England.
Hope everyone stays cool. What do you do to workout when it;s hot as h@**?
