Oh and Erin - I measured my gains througout TOM last months and this is how my weight changed:

23/05 Sunday - gain 261.4 (+0.2)
24/05 Monday - gain 261.8 (+.4)

25/05 Tuesday - 261.8 (0) first day TOM
26/05 Wednesday - gain 262.2 (+0.4) second day TOM
27/05 Thursday - gain 262.6 (+0.4) third day TOM
28/05 Friday - 262.6 (0) fourth day TOM
29/05 Saturday - loss 261.0 (-1.6) last day TOM

30/05 Sunday - loss 259.2 (-1.8)

So you can see I gained weight before and in the beginning of TOM and lost it all plus my expected weekly loss within 2-3 days after TOM.

Nothing to worry about. Just keep going and you will be fine! I actually even had a Haagen Dasz Icecream Sandwich and 2 pieces of triple choc cheesecake the days before TOM and it was all good afterwards! Dang those cravings! biggrin.gif

Hi Everyone! Hope you've all been having a great weekend.

i'm updating the chart today and there are some people i haven't heard from. i listed them below. Please check in with me so i can post your loss. If I don't hear from people for more than 3 weeks, i'll take them off the chart so it can stay clean.

RockyLoss - i got your week2 and week3 - do you have a loss for week 4 (6/7-6/13)?
eferr - i put your SW for the challege as 153 with goal as 130. is that right?

and these are the folks i have not received WI results for:
BreakAway - i think you said you're going in next week?

Thanks SDG,

I wish we'd here from the others, it helps to have them. We can help each other through the tough times. Bridgit, how's the biking going. Breakaway, if I remember correctly my brother in law use to bike with a bunch of other people in the evening in DC during the week. It might be a fun group to get involved with in the future.

I've got to figure out what to do with a striped bass for my MOMO. My husband decided to keep one last night, he's pretty excited that we're having MOMO now. So I've been researching grilling recipes and trying to figure out what to have with the striper. I'm 2.5lbs away from no longer being obese and from having 50lbs off of me, plus being in the 160's. I'm going to work my fanny off this week. I also have a pair of cropped pants arriving in a smaller size. biggrin.gif This challenge is definitely helping me to lose. Thanks you all.

Hey all, wow this thread is growing like wild flowers! that's awesome! Yep, I weigh in on Tuesday and I'm hoping I maintained - I ran outta Jenny food so i've been doing MOMO for 2 weeks. I THINK I did ok - I'll let you know how I did.

Thanks Nancy! I will look into the evening bikers. I know there is a free evening running group at the Pacer stores so I'll check them out too. I'm FINALLY done with this d@mn paper so I'm ready to get back on track.

I just want to say that it's very inspiriing how you guys are doing so well (I hope I keep up!) and it's funny that even though I haven't met you guys in person, I think about what you say during the day (like hmmm what would Marchee say if I got this huge bagel instead of fruit, how would Brigit feel if I skipped out on riding my bike tomorrow, would walk2lose want me to sit around or run today and also having a cheerleader like Nikki to keep me going through those tough days!

Thanks guys smile.gif

Finally, after missing my 2 weigh ins, I went!!! I am down 2.2 (to 231.2). I am bummed because I was down another 2.2 yesterday on my home scale, but I just keep telling myself that big drop will happen one of these days when I weigh in.

Sorry in advance for TMI, but I think it is really weird that every morning like clockwork I have a BM, but the days I go to JC, I don't have one until I get home. Oh well, the scale is going down and that is what is important.

Rocky, with birthdays and TOM, forget about the gain and get right back on track. You can and WILL do this.
Hugs to all,
Alison

Okay, I wasn't feeling like walking tonight, just felt sluggish all day. But Breakaway is right, I thought they are all walking, biking and running I've got to get up and get moving.

Tomorrow I go to the dentist for my 6th month cleaning. I'll be in pants that are 4 sizes smaller, thank you very much. Can't wait to go back in Dec. Who knew going to the dentist could be so much fun. tongue.gif

MarathonAl, I totally agree, WI is the best laxative ever. I always want to tell the people who say they are constipated that it will be okay after they WI. I checked out the website for TNT. Sounds like fun and great motivation. How much do you have to fundraise and do you pay fees to sign on for a race? It maybe easier for me to do races in the winter than other times of the year. I want to get some running under my belt before I contact them.

I'm going to try and get in the garden the next couple days. That should leave me finding muscles I haven't felt in a long time.
