Labor Day Challenge (Week 4)

Hi Everyone -

ok...here is a new chart. If there are any errors, please let me know. I added a new column to show current weight as well as i know many are showing that in their updates.

NikkiN - Welcome!!
Pamcarson - i received your message, not sure how the -7 fell, so i just put it all in last weeks.

So far as a group we've lost 60lbs with a total WL goal of 732! amazing. Everytime i go to the gym and see everyone in there busting it out, I think about how many pounds are sweated off and left there. Pretty amazing to think the difference we can make for ourselves and in doing so, the example and support we can be for others.

Oh shoot...NikkiN i'm sorry - i just noticed i goofed up your numbers. I put your weight as your goal, not the number of pounds you want to lose. I'll fix it.

Was 192.8 this morning. puts me at a 3.8 loss for last week but still not back down to my starting weight. TOM this week and then hopefully the rest plus some will be gone for week 5!!

Wow!
You read that week 3 column and you can almost hear the lbs dropping. 6 -7+lbs loses in one week, whoa.
Thanks Sundevilgal for the chart/update. It really helps to keep us accountable to ourselves. Hopefully everyone will check in and we will have lots of weight dropping off this thread by Labor Day. SDG you'll have those lbs back off in no time. Hope everyone is having a good sweaty week of workouts. Take care.

Ok, Wednesday is my weigh in day and this morning I'm down 1.8 lbs. Not as much as I'd hoped but I've had the flu the past 3 days and haven't been able to get my walks in. I've also been taking a lot of Ibuprofen and that causes me to hold water.

Nevertheless, I'm down and that's the direction I plan to keep going. Still love the food! I can't wait to get back to my 4-5 mile per day walks, I've become kind of addicted to them. Maybe 2-3 miles tomorrow?

Hi everyone, I know that the challenge is a few weeks in now but I would love to join if possible. I have never done any of the challenges before but it looks like a great way to keep motivated. I would love to be part of it.

Weighing in on tuesday so I will FINALLY update my numbers. But I've weighed myself at home and it looks like I'm at my 5% goal but I won't get too excited yet.... tongue.gif And I'm in NEED of a mani-pedi smile.gif

My WI today felt like progress - FINALLY! I've been in the 1 lb per week club since nearly the first week. I'm grateful for every lb I lose but much more grateful for every 2 I lose smile.gif

My WI today was at 147

Hello everyone!!!

It looks like it will be a great week for the team! Congratulations to everyone who is successful and losing!
2 lbs here, 3 lbs there, that's amazing! It really adds up!!

I won't post my weight until this weekend. I have been working out every day with my new bike but only lost 1.2 lbs so far. I was hoping for more since I havent worked out before and it should show some more effect I believe.

Oh well... we'll see ... still 2 more days to go until I officially weigh in at my JCC!

I can't wait for my WI next week. I have missed 2 Weigh ins. The only 2 since I started in March, but Memorial Day and a trip messed me up. I was showing a good loss last week, then when I traveled it looked like I gained, but I am now showing a loss again.

I feel REALLY motivated right now. I just registered for my next marathon. I am doing it 10/25 in Dublin, Ireland!!!! I am totally excited. I want to drop 25-30 pounds between now and then. If I could be in ONEderland by then, I would be beyond thrilled, but given I won't want to be "dieting" for 3-4 weeks before the event, I am not sure that is realistic.
