I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. For those who exercised and made healthy food choices, great job, keep up the good work. For those who slipped, time to regroup and start back on a healthier path now.
Welcome Shannon and Lawgirl. The more the merrier.
Congrats Cindy and Nanci on your weight loss.
I lost 0.6 this week. Not bad, as I couldn't exercise because of bronchitis.
How did everyone else do?

Hey all!!!

Can I join the challenge too?
I think it'd be great for me to have something to hold me accountable.

If you want, I can give you my starting weight as of last week, with last weeks loss, and just pretend I started last week. tongue.gif
Or we can start me off as of right now.
If you're okay with that.

I'll give you both sets of info now, so if it's cool. We can just start asap.

If we go as if I started last week. tongue.gif
Starting weight 230.4
Goal Weight 220

And so the update would be.
SW:230.4
CW:229.4
GW:220

Or we can just start me from this weeks starting weight
229.4
with my goal being 220.

Hey guys - I'll post an alert that you guys moved to this thread - I usually keep track of threads through "My controls" so I just happened to see this post randomly!

I weight in at 430 today so we'll see - TOM and okay weekend....




165 = Mani-Pedi
158 = Spa treatment
150 = Treat myself to a wardrobe consultant!

I weighed in and GAINED 1 pound but I know it's because of TOM - I'm 175.5 right now but I bet I'll be way lower next week!

Good morning everyone -

I had my WI today and am down just over a pound. Yay! I'm especially pleased because on Tuesday morning I was actually up after Memorial Day (I know, I know, I shouldn't have peeked).

Here is the latest:
Challenge Start Weight - 150.5
Current Weight - 149.4
Challenge Goal Weight - 141.5

Congrats everyone on a great week. Breakaway I'm sure you are right that your number next week will be really great when TOM has passed.

and i'm down another 2 pounds!

I went up as I predicted 1.4. I'm at 143.4 now.....this humidity is killing my diet, first time I've gained in three months......better luck next week.

I am SO excited! Week 4 on the program and I lost 4 lbs! Woohoo!!!! I started exercising this week and wow did it make a difference!

My challenge stats are now:

4th of July Challenge:

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I just got back from a party where I filled up on vegies and fruit, and came home to eat my jc dinner. It feels so good that I can do that.

I just noticed -- 4 weeks left of our challenge!!

I still have 8-10 pounds to go - Realistically, I think I'd be happy to make it to the 160's. But I will stick to the food the best I can for the next 4 weeks and see what happens - I know it's not a race, but that impatient side of me gets the better of me sometimes.

It's been really hard because I'm really burned out with grad school and work. But I know I've been doing better as far as not eating everytime I feel stressed. The fact that I'm losing weight during stressful times NEVER happened before. I could tell you when I had lots of stress every time I gained 10 pounds at a time!

I had one win today. I put on a pair of my size 10 jeans (that I could wear last year but just 2 months ago I couldn't button them) and I just wore them in public with no muffin top!! I was able to sit down and feel comfortable in them. So I KNOW I'm making progress.
