Well its 6 weeks on Jenny. I have a 5 month old and I am a stay at home mom, and I am feeling over whelmed... my husband doesn't help , much I live far from my family. Can't afford to hire help, and I just feel like things are falling out of control.. I am not able to control anything... My diet, my baby. I just don't feel good enough. I don't know if I feel like this because I am ashamed that I have not lost all my baby weight. I thought by now it would be gone.. I have loss 14 pounds on Jenny. But I see other moms who have lost it already..

I can't fit into my clothes, yet I keep cheating. A extra snack here or there. I just fill like a failuer. When it comes to my weight, my baby. I just feel bad/// anyont understand?

I think that you need to take a step back and look at your beautiful baby! They are truly a gift. I know what its like. I am a stay at home mom of 3! Just make up your snack of fruits and veggies in advance so when you are tempted you can grab them instead of something you shouldn't. Just remember that not all of us women lose the weight shortly after the baby. Keep moving. Take the baby for walks during the day and that will help with the stress, too. You are worth not giving up on. So keep checking in and staying strong! Good Luck

Hi Brandy!

You are going through a difficult time! Many of my friends who just gave birth to their first babies are in the same position. They are afraid of doing something wrong and think they are bad mothers but that's not true. Everyone has to adjust to this new situation of being a mom! A huge thing!! No wonder you are afraid and depressed!

it's a lot of stress and going for walks with your newborn is the best thing you can do! It will soothe your mind, it will make your baby sleep better and the adrenaline will help you to feel so much better too! One step at a time you will reach your goal and at the same time enjoy being a new mom!

Happy Mothersday!!!!

Happy Mothers Day to you......you are doing a great job by even trying to get the weight off....you hang in there and take one day at a time. I remember the feeling of fatigue when they are little.....its so exhausting, so if your able to have a little nap during the day when the baby sleeps it might help you get through the tough hours . You are worth it.....Take care and I wish you a great day!
Gemgirl.....on the way to getting it off for good!!!

Hi, Happy Mother's Day and good for you for trying to lose your baby weight. "Mom of 3" gave you wonderful and sound advice. And, just go slow and easy, some cannot wait to lose baby weight, but that isn't for everybody. Follow "Mom of 3"'s advice, you will get there! Much success! smile.gif
