Marion: I agree! At level 3 if I do it too many days in a row, I run into knee problems. Now I alternate level 1 with level 3, or just do level 1 if I am doing other significant exercise. I am beginning half marathon training, and so as I log more miles, I will be doing more level 1, I am sure.

Going back down to Level 1 is nothing to be ashamed of! wink.gif With my back problem, I felt sort of guilty about going back down...but Level 1 is still a GREAT workout and I was sort of surprised as how hard it still was for me. (I guess this means it won't really ever get easier...sigh)

Gonna try Level 2 tonight for the first time since the injury - might need a few modifications but hopefully I'll get back on track.

Oh - on the positive side, I'm down another notch on my belt. Thanks Jillian! cool.gif

No shame - I do it when I don't think I can tackle level 2, just wondering when 20 minutes of jumping jacks and squats became the "easy" level - oh right its only "easy" compared to plank jacks, squat thrusts and olblique twists wink.gif

FINALLY did it! I was motivated by my gain this past week. So I started last night with Level1. Since I run about 3 miles 3 times a week, I thought it would be easy, boy was I wrong. I wanted to quit but since it is only doing the circuit 3 times, I thought gees, it ain't that bad. Going to try to do it again tonight but that will be after my 3-4 mile run. But I really want to aim for 30 days straight. Has anyone noticed a fast weight loss with doing it for almost 3 weeks now???

Good job Jill. I found that doing the shred improved my rate of weight loss (though not "huge"), and even more, improved my tone and shape over the first 30 days.

To add a little "kick" to my work out today, I added on Weight loss Cardio Kick with Violet Zaki--a kick boxing workout I got on demand. I worked up a great sweat. Low impact. Lots of fun.
