If you haven't heard of it, Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser has this video out called the 30 Day Shred. The workouts are 20-30 minutes long and work cardio, abs and strength.
Lots of people have seen good results with it along with a healthy diet.
There's even a great resource for all questions related to the workout along with other Biggest Loser workout DVDs on this Shredheads blog:
Intro to Challenge and blog:
Welcome Shredheads
They even have tips on how to modify the exercises for things like knee issues, etc.:
Shred Adaptations
I'm hoping this will help me get my daily exercise in.
Hope some of you all will join me!

Your bike ride sounds great. I would love to be able to get outside to exercise every day. But with my work schedule I know that that isn't going to happen--so this Shred challenge will work well for me.

I'm sorry your back was hurting you, Kristiny. Is it lower back? Try keeping your knees bent and your abdominals in. If the ab series stuff is bugging you, keep your feet down, knees bent, feet on the ground and your legs slightly apart and just work the upper body.
Heidiho, try it and see what you think. You could always join us later.
Isabelle, so glad you're on top of things. Congrats on completing your first day! 29 more to go.

I have been trying to stretch it out and rest it but I ride horses most days.
I need to add some yoga to my routine.

I am not a "work out" person so I liked that the 20 minutes was broken up into little bite sized chunks of 3, 2 and 1 minutes.
For excersise I walk, and walk and walk (i have a big dog so lots of walking is a must!) and while the 10,000 steps perday was working i seem kinda "stuck" right now so the 30 day shred just might be the kick I need!
Oh and I'm a canadian so everything costs more but I downloaded it from Itunes for 10 bucks

Think i need to skip a day to repair those muscles, then get back at it. But I like it, I can see how this short work out would have good results
