Congrats on the weight loss. I am on week 5 of JC. I am bored with the food as well. I am adding variety by changing up some of my fruits. For example, instead of apples/grapes, I am going with kiwi and clementine tangerines. I added honeydew melon to my snacks. I have changed to greek yogurt. added flavored coffee too. Its small but I am hoping it works.

Hey Vixen-
The first thing that came to my mind was seafood seasoning. You said you miss seafood right? Well, you can always go out and buy "seafood seasoning" (should be near the other herbs and spices... and has no calories!)
I would steam your favorite veggies, then add the seasoning packet to it when it's done.
OR- add the seasoning packet to water you use to steam your veggies.. that way the taste gets soaked up by the veggies, and you don't actually eat all that salt!! smile.gif

Hey AmyMiami- I'm only on my 3rd week, planned menu. During my first week, a dinner entre was forgotten, so for my last dinner the night before getting weighed! I frieked out a little, thinking "Oh, great, now I'm not going to lose as much as I wanted because I have to figure out a "meal on my own" and I don't know what I'm doing (as far as cals./fat/protein portions)! I decided to get flounder filets (fluke & flounder are my personal faves; shrimp and scallops, too!). I usually make stuffed flounder with spinach and feta. I had a big scoop of spinach (w/ pepper, a little lemon, lots of fresh garlic) and a tbl. of feta cheese. I still ended up losing 7 lbs. my first week. Just remember portion size. I ate half the amount I would usually eat, with a lot less feta cheese in the spinach mixture, than I made for my family. I could see getting bored, but when you weren't on Jenny, didn't fast-food, etc. get boring too? How many times did I think, 'I don't know what to cook for my family any more---chicken, pasta, chicken, pasta!' Also, are you mixing up your salad contents and veggies? Salads can get very boring, so I try to use different lettuces each week with different toppings like red radishes & scallions, cucumber with celery, baby spinach with red onions and cherry tomatoes. There's still a lot of ways to create variety and still lose. Don't give up! Summer is a'coming! Holly

Do a dinner on your own. Grilled scallops with two sides of veggies are a great dinner out. You get the break from the meals and have fun knowing you can eat out. You are a real person ohmy.gif)
