The only weakness with my guy is that he loves to eat (but doesn't gain a pound) and will gets hungry often. So, if I see what he is eating I am so tempted to grab a bite but he is good at fighting me off.

So far I'm down 91 lbs as of last Sunday and I'm working on the next 117 lbs hoping to be at least close to ending all those pounds before I walk down the isle. But whatever I weigh in at he's happy with me and that just makes me want to work even harder ! So I do.
Jenny Craig has a wonderful partnership, it seems, with a site called sparkpeople.com. They have a team there that I've also joined. They have daily check-ins and daily feedback from the ppl there on the site. I now co-lead a team called 40 Somethings with 100+ Pounds to Lose and of course I belong to the Jenny Craig team as well. It's just gives more support, inspiration and and motivation on a daily basis, it's like having many friends on the same road with you that give you feed back when you need it.
Good luck to everyone ! I know we can make our goals by our wedding days !

So now I have a new motivation to lose this weight. I've got quite a way to go...but I'm really motivated to be a slim bride. The ring is my reminder...whenever I even think of grabbing something off program...I look at the ring and it's a GREAT reminder of my ultimate goal.
What are you guys doing about dresses? Are you waiting a few months before you go out and try things on? My mom and I went dress shopping a few weeks ago (me not knowing that he was proposing...and my mom just said it'd be fun to do)...and it wasn't as wonderful as I wish it was. Of course it was great thinking about it and trying on potential dresses...but not the selection of Plus sized dresses or getting stuck in one of them (Thank God there are no pictures of that).
I figured, I need 4 months to order the dress and 2 months for alterations (I'm a planner and allowed for good time)...so I'm thinking of waiting a few months before I try them on again.
What do you think?

I'm a return JC customer, I've done it 2 times before and have done great each time. Unfortunately I loose the weight, work out like crazy, and then for some reason once i've reach my goal weight, I think I can do it on my own and always fall back into bad habits. But this time I feel different. I want to keep up with the new lifestyle, the healthy lifestyle. So this time I've been on it for a week now, I've lost 2 lbs, and I hope that I've gone down a pound for this next weigh in. My fiance has been really supportive, and that makes it a lot easier!
I have my first dress appointment coming up in 2 weeks!! I'm so excited, I'm not even worried about not being close to my goal weight (which is 15 lbs - 20 lbs). Any dress can be altered, right!?! I'm just so excited to start shopping. I can't wait to get married.
So, how is everyone doing on the program? And wedding plans?

I have already purchased a dress (Size 28 even though i am a 24 you know how wedding dresses are always smaller) thinking i couldn't lose the weight in time and i knew my deadline to buy it (Takes six months to arrive) was running thin. I have gotten very motivated and HOPE i have to either alter the dress a LOT or have to buy an entire new one! In two week on JC, i have lost 9.4 pounds and my wedding goal is only 42.6 pounds for now! I HOPE i exceed that goal.
Like my JCC told me: "The way you will do this is to picture yourself the way you WANT to look on that wedding day!" I am trying to do just that!
We have almost all our plans set. Its a pretty big event, we are looking at about 225 guests!

I've been on the program for 8 weeks now and I've lost 13.2 lbs. My original goal was 60 lbs, so I have a year to lose the remaining weight. I started the program at 259.8 lbs. I feel like I'm off to a slow start, even though my consultant assures me that I'm "doing great." I've always been an active person, but my eating habits were terrible (there's a McDonald's on every corner!). My fiance is amazing, but I don't think he understands why I'm doing the program. He always says "You're beautiful just the way you are. You don't need to do this." But I feel like I need to do this for me.
My wedding dress currently hangs in my closet and while I can squeeze into it now, I would love to be able to take it in! Also, to be under 200 lbs would be something that hasn't happened since college. I can't wait to reach my goal and to enter my marriage with 100% confidence in myself! All of us 2011 brides deserve that much!

My initial goal is 30 lbs, but I think I'd like to lose 40 lbs. I really depends on what I look like when I reach my goal.
I haven't tried on a single wedding dress... EVER... I will be 39 next month and am excited to finally be able to walk down the aisle but am terrified of what I will look like when I try on dresses. I don't plan on starting to even look until I drop at least 20 lbs - and I have just joined JC 2 days ago so I am still at square one.
Good luck to everyone!
Nicki
PS, I also live in Canada, Vancouver to be exact

Joe and I are both performers, and I have gained a lot of weight since I stopped doing theatre shows and rehearsing every day. I sing in a band on the weekends, but thats only 2x a week. I not only want to look good in my dress, but I want to look decent infront of a crowd (I hope that doesn't sound shallow, because I'm not).
I bought my dress at the beginning of the summer. My mother is concerned that I will not fit into anymore. I started JC on September 7th, and I lost 2 lbs my first week. (I hope that is ok to say).
I hope I continue to lose. I have 21 lbs to go and I'm terrified. I had an eating disorder for 9 years of my life, so this is very hard for me.
Congratulations to all of the brides-to-be out there!

My name is Roxanne and I'm new to the JC program.
My fiance and I are getting married February 25, 2011. We live in Chicago, IL and are having a small destination wedding in Las Vegas.
I've gained over 60lbs in 2 years and I'm hoping to get it all off. I've done JC about 8 yrs ago and lost alot of weight so I know it'll work. I love JC.
I'm on day 2 of the program and loving it. The food is so good. I'm eating better now than I was before.
I already bought my wedding dress (size 18) and will hopefully have to get alterations done now. I'm going to wait til January to see where I am in sizes to get the dress done.
Good Luck to all of you!

My wedding goal is to lose 17 more pounds by March 5th. That would make my overall weight loss at that time 40lbs. I will feel proud with that. I have one problem that I am hoping someone might have suggestions for. I am starting to have a loose skin issue. How can I firm up my skin in time? That is without plastic surgery although spa treatments if they work are fine.
