I am new to Jenny. I weigh about 300 Ibs. and I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I would like to think about incorporating some exercise in with my weight loss regime, and would like to do something at home by way of a workout (indoors where it's convenient, and warm). Does anyone know of any weight conditioning or aerobics videos for anyone in extremely poor shape? I'm loathed to buy anything and have it be a poor match for my fitness level. Also, my husband and I were talking about buying a Wii in the future. Does anyone know of any Wii Fit or other Wii workout programs that will start at a VERY basic level, or that can be modified for people who are starting at the kind of level I'm at?
I'd love to hear suggestions! Thanks!

Hi,
Depending on your fitness level there are variety of things to do. For example: Chair Exercises, Weights (for upper and lower body), Elastic band/pilates etc. I have WII had home and also... I have recently just broke an ankle from karate. I am finding that WII sports is good because I can work my punches and upperbody and chose my own workout. No on Jillian Michael's workout for sure too much to begin with. Any punching games are good. Also, before you buy you can rent. I rent at Gamefly (gamefly.com). It is kinda expensive though but so is buying a video that you can get tired of ;-). Also with Netflix you can rent some videos to try out.

Just a thought but now that I've gotten rid of 91 lbs I can now use the Wii Fit Plus workouts and am really doing well with it.
I wish all of us good luck ! Here's to you ! May our health keep improving.
