Just 3 days away from Christmas, and then the lead up to New Year's Day. I'm doing okay on this new path being guided by the JC program. It is tough, with seasonal temptations (like egg nog, which I love) and stresses (our daughter arrived with her husband and children to stay for the holidays). I keep telling myself that, even if I don't have an awesome weight loss during the next two weeks, the key is that I'm not gaining weight either! Since I'm usually a New Year's resolution dieter, this is putting me way ahead of the game, in all respects. I must say that I feel a lot better since I'm not eating nearly as much junk food as I would be this time of year.

I agree. Just trying to look at all the positives, and think about what I would be eating (how much) without JC. Even if I indulge a bit, it is only "a bit" and so far my weigh has not gone up, stopped once sad.gif but didn't climb. I have obviously learned something about portions and food choices. Merry Christmas
