I need to keep myself motivated and I like a Challenge.

I want to start a thread for people who want to lose 8 pounds between December 1st and December 31st.

Everyone can post here but I will try and post a summary posting regularly throughout the month.

If you want to participate - post on either November 30th or December 1st your weight and then just drop in throughout the month to post your progress.

If we all help to motivate each other - maybe we can even do more!!!!!!

OK Everyone - its November 30th - post your starting Weights and lets show everyone how we can lose 8 pounds in the month of December.

My starting weight (based on home scale) is 208. Going for the big 200 by New Years Eve

My goal for December is to lose 8.4lbs to weigh 176.6 on December 31st!

Current Weight - 185

Count me in. I really need this challenge to meet my personal goal.
Current weight as of Saturday 137.3. Will loose eight pounds by end of December to meet goal.

I'd like to join in too! I am starting my first day of JC tomorrow, but know that I will need to focus all month long!
My starting weight on my scale today was 231.7. Since this is my first week, I know I will have a good first week, so I'll start my goal as 15 lbs this month.

Hi all,

I am kind of new to JC just signed up 11/17/09. I would like to take this 8lb challenge and see if I can pump myself up a bit.

I currently weigh 198. Goal for this challenge is 190.

I just signed up today. Losing 8 pounds sounds awesome. My current weight is 160 pounds, so my goal will be 152.

This is a great idea!
Starting at 133.6 as of this am. I will be very very happy 8 pounds lower on 12.31.09.

Hi,
I'd like to join the challenge. I've lost 16 pounds with Jenny Craig over the last several months. This challenge is a great way to re-motivate. Currently I'm at 170. With the 8 pound challenge, my goal will be 162 pounds by 12/31. Thanks all!

I'd like to do the December Challenge! My WI as of 11/30 was 218.4. I would like to lose the 8 lbs. by December 31st!

Well, I had my first weigh in this morning. I also got my correct initial weight, so here is my info:


Beginning weight 232.6

Want to lose 15 lbs

First weigh in 224.6

I lost 8 lbs this week! Not bad for my first week! Lots of water gone! smile.gif Now lets start losing fat!!!

Gained 0.2 over Thanksgiving week. But am glad it wasn't more. Tonight weighed in with a 1.2# loss. Now at 169.0. Good-bye 170s!. Got a bit to catch up on if I'm going to make the 8 pound challenge by December 31.
