Hi! I've reached my goal and lost 50lbs. I'm actually 9 lbs below my goal weight and my counselors are concerned. The thing is, I really love JC food. Seriously. Not all of it, but 90% of it. Is it such a bad thing to want to continue with the program? Everyone is pushing me to add "real" food into my lifestyle - which I do - but since I work 13 hours day, JC is convenient and tasty.

I'm curious if you still utilize JC food.

BTW, I had an Oprah "ah ha" moment on Jan 17th 2009 and marched myself into JC. I take credit for that, but, it was your inspiration that kept me going.

Well, I think you did a great first step by joining. Most of the food is good, I am a very picky eater! Try everything at least once then you can change what you don't like. Use this forum for helpful info and to ask questions. Good Luck to you!

OK guys so here is the thing. I totally agree, there are some Jenny food items that I can not do with out. Really. !! the stupid rotini and meatballs make my day biggrin.gif. I am on a big project at work and seriously having a box to microwave helps more than you can know. I've lost 50 lbs and have been maintaining for the past 2 years. Yes all two years and 50 lb lost. It doesn't get any easier. Maintenance is harder than anything that I have done itn the past. My mantra is that skinny jeans feel better than anything tastes so there you go.

I was a mid point Val Pal; not the first group that were on Oprah. I gotta tell you that this site helped.

Lori

Hey Val's Pals anyone around??

Hi Lori, congratulations on maintaining your weight loss of 50# for two years. As you mentioned, I expect it to be very hard work when I get to that point of maintenance. I have no intentions of giving up Jenny food, entirely. Not because I am not confident, but more because it is convenient, fits my lifestyle, and most of the food is quite good.
Again, congratulations on an effort well done, for sure! Best wishes, Lori! smile.gif

Churchmouse - Valerie - thank you for all the videos and blogs - I joined Jenny Craig on December 21, 2010 and have lost 28 pounds so far! I love the food! It's a wonderful journey - keep posting videos and blogs - I have read your blogs twice already and have seen your videos countless times!
