AMEN, sister! I am a transitioning vegetarian and feel that we all benefit from eating less animal products. A few more JC veg options is a great start.

Surely even the meat-eating clients would enjoy mixing things up a bit!

I have been a vegetarian for years and JC's veggie food selection is just sad. I would love to have more of a selection to choose from. I had favorite meals but I ate them so much they quickly became less and less appetizing to me. I hope Jenny Craig adds to the vegetarian menu.

I sent an email to their customer service regarding the lack of veg foods, as well as the remarkable amount of additives they put in much of their foods. I pointed out that the change in peoples' awareness and consumer desires is leading towards healthier meals, including organic and real foods.

They replied with a "thanks for your feedback. We'll pass it on to the appropriate people."

I absolutely agree with you! I get soooo tired of the limited options we have! They should at least through in a few sandwiches or tacos or something. I sent an email to JC complaining of this very issue.

It seems like all the Jenny food suitable for vegetarians is cereal, pizza or pasta. Why can't they make veggie fajitas, veggie chili, tofu stir-fry, vegetable potstickers or veggie burgers? These would be very simple modifications to their current menu and not be so bread-y.

Not a vegetarian but I agree - there are not enough meatless options. At least the new pacakes come with a veggie pattie rather than real sausage

They've had the veggie patty with the pancakes for years. Surprising - since they drop veggie options all the time. I always expected to come in one day and find a turkey sausage stuffed in there.

Thanks to everyone for posting your requests for vegetarian foods -- I've been on JC for several years and have eMailed that request a number of times; maybe we'll get critical mass soon! Great ideas about vegetable potstickers, etc.

I still go to my JC consultant, but don't eat much of their food anymore -- though I'm not nearly as successful using alternatives. Whenever I "bite the bullet" and go back to straight JC I lose like I'm supposed to, but I just can't eat the same 5 lunches and 6 dinners for so long... PLEASE hear us, Jenny Craig!

CitizenCynthia - you are so right!!! Those meals sound perfect for the menu. Those items sound very reasonable and a great place for JC to start showing that they care about their vegetarian consumers.

I don't think JC understands that it wouldn't take much to make a lot of us vegetarians happier with their program; and another plus for them is that the Vegetarian Community Board wouldn't be such a complaint fest! Come on JC step up!!!!!
