alright, heres a background to me.
i'm 15 and this is my 5 week on jc.
(i've already dropped almost 8 pounds and 7 1/2 inches)
its been EXTREMELY easy for me comparing to others who've posted.
but i figured its probably cause i basically never leave the house.
HOWEVER- i start school tomorrow.
i honestly don't know how its gonna go.....
what do i say to the kids when they ask why i'm not buying lunch?
do i just admit to being jc?
its not that i'm ashamed or anything, if you're wondering.
not to mention all the freakin work involved.
i just spent 20 minutes figuring out what i should bring for lunch
my actual jc lunch, or just my snacks.
i went for the snack route cause there will be less questions..
plus i'm uber lazy tongue.gif
has anyone already gone through this school thinger?
or is anyone else about to/already going through this?
PLEASE REPLY

sleep.gif i just counted down how many hours of being "free" i have left.
i have just about 10.

Well the difference between you and I is that I'm in college and I have the use of a microwave. If at you're school you CAN use a microwave, what I do sometimes is I would preheat my food in the morning and just put it in tubberware and just heat it up again for lunch or whenever I eat it. It'll pretty much cut out people asking about JC if that's something you want to avoid, also, you can just tell them you're trying to save money and you'd rather have home food. It's not uncommon for people to bring their lunches to school. It's been a year since I was in highschool but I know that a lot of people ended up bringing their own lunches. You can either do that, or, you can take all your snacks with you during the day, snack on the veggies, fruts and snacks whatever you want, and drink a lot of water. If you have your breakfast before you go to school in the morning, it may be able to bring you through your day until you get home.

I hope I helped! And good luck at school tomorrow!! I go back on September 8th sad.gif lol

Well my school has a microwave so it was easy for me to bring the Jenny lunches. If anyone asks why you arent buying lunch tell 'em you brought it from home cause it's wayyy healthier! wink.gif Tottaly true, you don't even have to tell them your on the program! You could even take the food out of the box, but cut the instructions off and stick it in your lunch satchel.
I hope that helps! smile.gif

I have gone through it too. It's easy when you have the microwavable foods and they taste so good too. My friends didn't care. They were really proud of me and kept cheering me on even though I was struggling. I'm still in this battle and I'm going to go back to school this fall and be skinner than ever.

People will bring you up or bring you down. But I'll always be a friend to you :)

hi, im yota:) (Ive been on the program for about 1 month and have lost 15 lbs)
I wouldn't worry about the people at school and what they'll say about the jenny Craig food. My friends were really supportive and thought that i was being really responsible by being healthy and losing weight. It even made them think twice about what they ate, and actually started to eat healthier. It was easier for me to eat my meals because we have microwaves in our cafeteria, and i would keep my food frozen in a smaller store brand keep frozen bag just like the one that they give you at jenny Craig. No matter what people say, you made the decision to become a happy, healthier person, and just remember that smile.gif.
