Please someone tell me what are the best exercises that you can do to drop the pounds without going to a gym.
It is so hard to find the time to exercise and when I do I have trouble figuring out what the best exercises are as far as burning calories , and losing the weight fast!

Everyone is different. You will find a bunch of things you like and don't like. I find running/jogging to be the best for me. I started out light jogging for 1 min then walking for 3. 6 months later now I am able to run at about 6 mph for 30 mins and light jog for 3 mins. I have lot a ton of weight doing this around the neighbourhood.

Good luck with your weight loss.

I agree, jogging worked well for me. I started off jogging as far as I could (which was not far) and then walking until I caught my breath again, then jogging etc. Now I can job for over 30 minutes without getting too tired, or about 3 miles.

I also do Wii Aerobics, and I found that burned the calories faster and I lost more weight doing it, but I still jog sometimes to break up the monotony.

If you find you are strapped for time, turn on the radio and dance, that is good too.

I just found that on my cable tv "on demand" selection i have about 150 free exercise videos. All different kinds of exercise videos from hip hop aerobics to yoga, stretching, kickboxing, dancing etc. The videos are between 10 - 50 minutes. I was amazed at the variety.

If you have on demand with your tv service, check out the free on demand under sports and fitness. I'm so excited to try to mix some fun 10 minute exercise routines in my day, trying all different kinds.

I've paid for a ton of gym memberships, generally hated the whole gym experience. I find excuses to stay outdoors -- a dog will automatically take 10 lbs off you...if you don't have one that will surely get you moving!

I only workout at home, I use a treadmill and a indoor bike and an aerobics tape to workout to. All of which tighten, tone and make the weight disappear from sight. Of course you have to stay on your caloric intake amount with the exercise, lol. I do some stretching as well and when I'm bored I get down on the floor and do whatever exercises I can do there. Good luck !

Awesome workout and good calorie burn: Jillian Michaels Boost your metabolism DVD, and her 30 day shred. (they are 30-40 min workout which includes warm up cool down). i have to modify but wore my HRM today and burned 400 calories with the Boost one, and I didn't do all the jumping, and some other things, but the boxing punches raises hear rate, and I loved her standing Ab work!! during the parts i couldn't do I just marched in place swinging arms.

It came out last spring I think, I got it on amazon, here is the link $10.99. I got the name slightly wrong, it is Banish Fat Boost metabolism

Personally I love to Zumba and Turbo Jam. Dancing is my thing so i find these enjoyable and have helped me lose 20 pounds without any dieting. I am starting JC now so that i can learn better eating habits and continue my weight loss.
