I have a 13 month old and 35 pounds to loose. I started JC 2 months ago, and got off track a few weeks ago. I had lost 10 but now its all back. I am starting from the beginning again. I feel embarressed to call my consultant because she hasn't heard from me in weeks. But I need to take action. I feel like an alcholic who fell off the wagon! Could use any words of encouragement!!

I have a 6 month old son, and need to lose at least 60 lbs. I like that there is a forum for new Mommys. We are all in the same boat and understand each other. I was on JC before I got pregnant and had lost 20 lbs. I gained 43 pounds while pregnant. Lost a little after he was born, but I weigh more now than a month after his birth. I haven't been walking, Ive been so tired and trying to get into a routine that we've been eating out a lot more than normal. That hasn't helped. So here I am again. This time with a lot more to lose than before. I am just hoping that it works as well as last time. Would love to hear from all of you, as I can use as much support as you all are willling to give.

Jamie, don't worry. You may have fallen off, but at least you know when to say when and get back on. It is difficult to stay on the JC food as it is expensive, and after a while it gets boring. BUT we just have to think how we will feel once we reach our goals.

Did you ever call you consultant? Just wondering. If not you really should now. You are not the 1st person to fall off the food addiction wagon. They get those calls everyday. I'd love to hear how things went.

I have a 9 1/2 month old girl. I have lost 35 baby pounds. However, I still have 30 to go. I weigh in on Thursdays and can't wait.

Hi New Moms

I am 35 yrs/old with a 4mth old baby. I am looking to lose 35lb.......35 STUBBORN lbs. LOL. Nice to see so many moms in here! Any from Canada? I find the food is delicious and So convenient. Its nice not worrying about cooking for a little while! Sometimes I get frustrated on how slow you lose weight on Jenny because I have done other diets (herbal magic) and lost like 10lbs a week. It was crazy....but I was starving myself and sure enough the weight came back!!! I have been on Jenny for almost 2 wks and have lost 3lbs. I work out 5 days a week. Hopefully I will reach my goal........ tongue.gif

I also have an 8 month old baby girl and have so far lost 13 lbs. on JC, with 37 left to go. My husband is also trying to lose some weight on his own, so that is very helpful!

When I get home from work and bring the baby back from daycare, either he works out first or I work out, while the other takes care of the baby (she goes to bed at 8:00). I find that working out later keeps my appetite for dinner down, and after 8 PM used to be my big pig-out time in front of the TV!

He uses P-90X (not for me, too hard!), and I use the free workouts on OnDemand Cable. I also have an elliptical machine, which is great, because I can watch TV and keep an eye on the baby while I do it. I try to alternate cardio and toning exercise.

I also lift the baby in the air a lot and bounce her (which she loves), and am getting some nice arm muscles from that!

I plateaued a little bit the last 3 weeks, since we go out a lot, and a little cheating here and there really adds up. I think I am back on track now, for the time being.

Good luck!

Hey there! Im in the same boat you are in, though my baby is only 6wks old. I actually live in Elmwood Park and go to the HIP Jenny Craig! Im actually starting back up as of saturday. I did great before, but i gained it all back with this pregnancy (first baby). How are you doing with it so far? Im a little nervous about going back, I just really have to stay on plan (my husband and i have 2 weddings to go to in Sept and my clothes dont fit.....very frustrating). Im thinking of trying Zumba at home, since its hard to go to the gym all the time.... what are you doing for exercise?
