Official weigh in not until Sunday, but I am down 10.8 for this challenge! I did it and early!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!
Summer challenge and GOAL by Sept 1st 2009



Started JC Direct 4/26/2009 MADE GOAL 8/22/09!!!!!!
Sundays are my official WI days. :)

Week 1 May 3rd - -7.4 sooo happy! (Goodbye 200's for good!)
Week 2 May 10th - -1.8 and TOM I will take it!! (9.2 total loss!)
Week 3 May 17th - -3.4 Happy Dance!!!! (12.6 total loss)
Week 4 May 24th - -0.4 No clue why :( (13 total loss!)
First month total lost 13 pounds!
Week 5 May 31st - -3.4 (16.4 total loss) On my way to 180's this week!
Week 6 June 7th -.08 ughhh TOM (17 total loss!) GOODBYE 190's!!!!!
Week 7 June 14th - 3.6! (-20.6 total loss!) HALFWAY TO GOAL!!!
Week 8 June 21st - 1 pound (-21.6 Total loss!)
Two Months loss 21.6!
Week 9 June 28th -3.6 yayyyy!
Week 10 July 5th -3.0 (28.2 total loss in 10 weeks!)178.2!
Week 11 July 12th -1.8 TOM and still lost!
Week 12 July 19th -1.2 And was on vacation for a week, I will take it!
Three months loss 31.2 pounds!
Week 13 July 26th -2 pounds!
Week 14 Aug 2nd -1.4 (171.8)
Week 15 Aug 9th -1 pound (170.8)
Week 16 Aug 16th -3 pounds!! (167.8) WOW! Excited!!!!!!
Week 17 Aug 23rd -2.4 pounds and beyond GOAL!!!!165.4
Week 18 Aug 31 - 1 pound... Beyond goal... might go some more!
It just keeps melting off... so I am letting it...lol ;)

Challenge starting weight: 197.2 (5-10-2009)
Week 1 results: 193.8 (5-17-09) = -3.4 lost
Week 2 results: 193.4 (5-25-09) = -0.4 lost (Slowing down finally, thats ok!)
Week 3 results: 190 (5-31) = -3.4 lost I think I see a pattern! lol
Week 4 results: 189.4 (6-7) = -.08 lost ughh TOM! lol (Total 7.8 for challenge)
Week 5 results: 185.8 (6-14)= -3.6!! Total for challenge 11.4 CHALLENGE GOAL MET!

Some of you guys are rocking this challenge!! I'm going to use your success to motivate myself. Have started exercising again, and have made some good choices. I haven't been in to the center since 5/29, and I am very torn because it is costing me so much $$ and I also feel bad abandoning my hubby (we had been doing WW together before). Have been trying to stick to the exchanges and use some other frozen meals to control portion size.

Is anyone doing a modified menu to save money? My other thought was to do my own breakfast, salad dressings, and yogurt/vitamin in place of the anytime bars. Maybe even getting 100 calorie snack packs or skinny cow to replace the snacks. I know that JCC will be against this, but am thinking it is probably safer than going it 100% on my own. What do you guys think?

Lost the weight I found in Jamaica and a bit more!!!! Well looks like I wont loose the 10 pounds we set out to, but at least I lost some! We'll concentrate on those and hope for the best in the next 6 weeks!

Ok, so this was not a good week sad.gif . The scale stayed the same. Not bad considering I was very sick and was on antibiotics all week. I have just 2lbs to lose to hit my goal, so I'm just going to work hard this week and hope it pays off.

Hi- Well I did it!! Not only did I meet my goal I past it alittle. I am down 2.2 this week!!! My slump is finally over and I look forward to the next challenge. Lindsay- You did a great job, I will look for your new challenge!!

Hey all. What a great idea. I have lost almost 20 lbs since September and have kept it off, but I have been maintaining and not losing since late March. So, I thought I would join the 10 in 6 challenge as we move into summer. Great weather for walks and farmer's market veggies and fruits, so I am hopeful that this next 10 will be off by late July. Will update you every Saturday after my weigh-ins. Thanks for the support.

Congratulations on your weight loss Spence. This challenge was for summer 2009, but there is Labor Day Challenge going on for 2010 if you want to join!
