I'm Allison.
I've been posting on the other boards for a little over a month & just discovered this board.
I lost almost 8lbs and then last week I went in and found out that I had gained that 8lbs back PLUS some.
So now I'm REALLY trying to stay on track.
It's so hard.
Is there anyone else not getting married for 2 years or more?
Our UNofficial wedding date is Oct 30, 2010...

I've been engaged for 2 months and we haven't set a date yet, in part because I don't want to even try on dresses. I joined JC once before, six years ago, and I loved the program. Once I met my fiance two years ago, things got, well, comfortable. And suddenly I'm 151 lbs (I'm 5'4") and realized that I'm really unhappy with myself. So Monday morning (2 days ago), I called my local centre and went in for a consultation.
Today is just Day 2, and I was hungry a bit yesterday in the afternoon--but I'm completely motivated by the thought of wearing a beautiful, simple J Crew dress when we do set a date! We have to keep our wedding costs down, so I want to feel like I can wear something simple and lovely and not need a constructed and designed gown that costs thousands of dollars.
So, Mondays are my weigh-ins, and I'm going to do my best for the next 6 days so I can feel proud then!
(Also, my goal weight is 130 lbs.)
