I agree, you don't need to be a vegetarian to like a veggie burger. Let's see some additional non-pasta veggie options, too.

I talked with my consultant regarding different options for a vegetarian menu. I was concerned that I wasn't getting enough protein and am a little sick of pasta, pasta, pasta! So I am incorporating meals on my own with the Morningstar Farms veggie burger and adding the veggie sausage to some of the dishes. I've lost 24 lbs so far, and lets face it, I had lots of junk food options as a vegetarian, hence my current predicament. So, I can't complain about a lack of variety with healthy portion controlled foods that are making me skinny!

I'm not a vegetarian either, but a good veggie burger would be really nice to add to the mix. The same food selection week to week does start to get old. LOL
238.4 @ 10/4/08 (start JC)
231.8 @ 10/11/08 (1st WI) (-6.6 great start)
231.2 @ 10/18/08 (2nd WI) (-.6 a few nights out & did the best i can..still a loss)
229 @ 10/25/08 (3rd WI) (-2.2 just about at a 10# loss, only 1/2# to go)
226.2 @ 11/1/08 (4th WI) (-2.6, down a whopping 12.2 lbs in 4 weeks!)
225.6 @ 11/8/08 (5th WI) (-.6, i'll take it after the week i had w/ my poor stomach)
228 @ 11/15/08 (6th WI) (+2.4, that's what you get from eating out every nite)
TOTAL TO DATE: 10.2 lbs.

first goal is 10% @ 214.4 (on i'm my way!!)
Time to take control of ME!!

I've just come back to Jenny and was VERY disappointed that the veggie burger was gone! Also, we need more variety besides PASTA. I have a feeling it will be hard to stay interested unless I get more options.

Ugh, I didn't know there used to be a veggie burger!! I'm a vegetarian too, and I agree that they should bring back the veggie burger. Also, I'm sad that they are getting rid of the silver dollar pancakes w. Veggie sausage. That was the highlight of my morning!!

Even if they don't bring back the veggie burger, there definitely needs to be more veggie options! wink.gif

dry.gif I agree that they should offer veggie burgers and other vegetarian entrees. I find there is a lot of cheese and pasta in the offerings which makes it harder to drop the weight. I also find that there is fairly low fibre in a lot of the meals. I've been trying to get my fibre through salads and veggies but more fibre in the meals would be helpful too.

Hello from Chai Tea, I would love to have the veggie burger back as well. I have been rather active about telling Jenny Craig what us vegetarians want. We have to keep plugging away and I know with all our responses and emails it will come back.

I agree...never had the JC veggie burger but would love to see this along with other vegetarian options for lunches and dinners. Have been on the program for over a year and getting tired of the limited choices!!
