the idea that Jenny works got me started, but did not realize it works better if your a stay at home Mom or single with nothing to do. i've been doing ok with the food 4 1/2 days a week. but every weekend i've got activities that are not conducive to frozen foods. I'm doing my best..any suggestions?

Welcome Diva

I am not a stay at home mom but I am single and retired with things to do. You are right that it works better if you are at home 24/7. But who is. All you can really do is your best. When I am out I travel with jc food. I buy a lot of the chicken salad kits for that purpose and if I can I'll grab a salad. If I must eat something that is not on my plan I try to make sure that I am mindful of portions. Oftentimes I crave certain foods. Most of the time I can control myself and sometimes I just have to have a burger. I cut it in half and take off one side of the bun. I give the other half to whoever i am with. Or I toss it.

I have been on JC since year. I struggle with my weight because of medical problems and medication.I've lost and gained. But I am not giving up. My Mom use to tell me "Nothing Worth While Is Easy" and she was right.

So Dive perhaps you can try the chicken and tuna kits, salads with grilled chicken, fruit salads, and the JC snacks while you are on the go.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck and again Welcome

Elaine

You are right that can be a problem. My partner is a bus driver and had the problem of what to eat for lunches. She has done a lot of sandwiches using light breads and lean meats with fruits and veges and the salad kits. There aren't a lot of options when there isn't a microwave available, but stick with it! We've each lost about 50 pounds! I've had to cut my dosage of cholesterol medication in half and hope to eliminate it soon, so it is worth it, for sure.
