Hi everyone,

I didn't lose one single pound this week. I maintained at the level I was at (not too bad). I didn't work out last week as much as I normally do. But this week I'm going to 3 pounds.

Tessa - How are things with you?

Hang in there everyone and working out does help.

HEY ALL ~

SORRY I HAVEN'T WRITTEN IN A WHILE. IT HAS BEEN SUCH A HECTIC WEEK. I AM STILL MAINTAINING AT 194 LBS EVEN. LAST WEEK I LOST THE 0.8 LBS I HAD GAINED THE WEEK BEFORE. I HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE ABOUT WORKING OUT. I HAVE BEEN ACTIVE......JUST NOT "WORKING OUT".

MY CONSULTANT SAID THATS BETTER THAN NOTHING. SOMETIMES SHE'S JUST A LITTLE TOO POSITIVE! LOL

MY GOAL THIS WEEK IS TO GET BACK ON TRACK WITH THE FOOD AND THE ACTIVITY! I AM SCARED TO WEIGH MYSELF. I HAVE NOT BEEN FOLLOWING MY MEALS VERY WELL THIS WEEK AT ALL! I AM SCARED IF I GAINED TOO MUCH THAT IT MAY DISCOURAGE ME.

I HAVE UNTIL THURSDAY TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. SO I AM REALLY GOING TO PUSH MYSELF TO WORK OUT EVERYDAY UNTIL THE DREADED W.I. DAY!! angry.gif

WELL I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING BETTER THAN I AM!

I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THURSDAY GOES!

Isn't it unfortunate how ipmortant working out is =] Think positive about it, look at the pros and pros.... what are the pros to NOT working out, and what are the pros TO working out. This will usually help inspire whn you see all the great things it can do for you. Ect. Pros to Not exercising... time to sit on couch and watch tv, no pain from exercise, look bad in exercise clothes....put your reason here...
Pros TO exercising...
Lose weight faster, maintain your weight, give you the opportunity to splurge, tone your body as you lose weight so you do't end up with loose skin, gives you energy, relieves stress, helps you sleep, relieves pain in knees and joints as time goes on, look great in clothes and exercise clothing...and the list goes on!!
So its pretty obvious how exercise helps in EVERY aspect of your life, its just having that motivation to DO it. Remind yourself what your motivation for starting Jenny Craig was...What made you walk through the door? Then imagine how exercise can affect that.
Remember, once you have started exercising you are doing yourself a world of good, and it only takes 21 days to create a habit!! Backing off from your exercise can also make a significant difference in your week, but sometimes this in not avoidable, so don't beat yourself up about it, learn and move on right! Tomorrow is a new Day!!!
Oh and your TOM makes a HUGE difference. You probably have never realized how much until you start dieting and seeing just how much it affects your weight! Darn mother nature =]

Hi all,

I lost 3.5 lbs this week Monday. I weigh in again next week Monday so we'll see how I do. So far I've lost 12.9 lbs and 6 inches. I get my measurements taken this week. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone,

I weighed in Monday and I lost another 2 lbs and 9 inches. So far I've lost 13.7 lbs. I'm currently at 170.2, my last week in the 170's can't wait. Take care everyone and good luck!!

HI EVERYONE ~ SORRY I DISAPPEARED FOR A WHILE. LIFE DECIDED TO BECOME EXTREMELY BUSY FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS.

WELL I HAD A MINOR SET BACK LAST WEEK. I DIDN'T LOSE AND I DIDN'T GAIN. I TRIED TO STAY ON THE MENU PLAN AS MUCH AS I COULD BUT WASN'T VERY SUCCESSFUL. AND WORKING OUT WAS NOTHING AT ALL!!

SO THIS PAST WEEK I HAVE BEEN REALLY FOCUSED ON GETTING BACK ON THE MENU PLAN. I LOST OVER 2 MORE LBS. I AM DOWN TO 191.6 (HOPING THIS IS MY LAST WEEK IN THE 190'S) WOO HOO! NOW THAT I AM BACK ON THE MENU PLAN 100% MY NEW FOCUS IS ACTIVITY! I STARTED TODAY W/ 50 MINUTES OF YOGA. I AM WANTING TO ALTERNATE DAYS 1 DAY DOING YOGA THE NEXT DAY WALKING (HOW LONG IS STILL TO BE DETERMINED). TRYING TO TAKE IT ONE STEP AT A TIME. DON'T WANT TO BURN MYSELF OUT BY TRYING TO DO TOO MUCH.

COCO YOU AGAIN ARE SUCH A ROCK STAR!! I CAN'T WAIT TO BE IN THE 170'S. SO HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM TIF LATELY?

Yes, I made it. I'm now down to 168.2 I lost 15.5 lbs thus far. I'm so happy! Finally out of 170's. Again, my goal weight is 130 or 135 depending on how I look. Good look everyone stay motivated.

WELL JUST IN CASE YOU ARE STILL THERE I WILL UPDATE YOU.....I AM OUT OF THE 190'S AND HAVE BEEN FOR SEVERAL WEEKS NOW. I AM DOWN TO 187 LBS. I HAVE BEEN PRETTY MUCH AT THAT WEIGHT FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS. BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN VERY STRICT ON MY PLAN. MY FIANCES FATHER PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO. IT HAS BEEN REALLY ROUGH ON THE BOTH OF US. I DO FEEL THE URGES OF THE "EMOTIONAL EATING". I ALSO ENDED UP GETTING REALLY SICK I THINK DUE TO THE LACK OF SLEEP AND ALL THE STRESS WE WERE DEALING WITH. IT STARTED WITH A FEVER, SORE THROAT, AND SINUS CONGESTION. AND HAS NOW DEVELOPED INTO A SINUS & CHEST CONGESTION......MAKING WORKING OUT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. I DECIDED TO TRY TO WAIT IT OUT ONE MORE WEEKEND BUT IF I AM NOT ANY BETTER BY MONDAY MORNING I AM GOING TO HAVE TO SUCK IT UP AND GO TO THE DOCTOR! I JUST CAN'T GO ANOTHER WEEK WITH NO WORKOUT......I DON'T THINK I WILL REMAIN IN THE 180'S IF I CONTINUE ON THIS PATH.

WELL I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE BEEN DOING GREAT!!! I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR HOW THINGS HAVE BEEN GOING FOR YOU ALL.

Sorry to hear that, hope all is well with you and your family now. Well, I'm still at it. I've lost 21.5 pounds and 14.5 inches total. I'm now 162.2 so this is my last week in the 160's. Still working out 7 days a week and I got a personal trainer I do that twice a week. My weigh in is Monday so I'm trying to get down to 130. It's taking a very long time, but hang in there and stay committed and motivated.

Hello Everyone,

I hope its okay that I join in. I live in CT and I am getting married Sept 26 2009. I have 11 months till the wedding (not like I am counting or anything). I just met today with a consultant and signed up for the program. To be honest I am soooo excited. I totally understand about the cost of the program it is VERY expensive. I think that this is tottaly worth it. Well I havent even started so we will see how it goes. But I am a glass half full type of gal so I will make my goal. My SW is 206.2 and my GW is 170 I will be happy with 180 but I like the stars and anyting past 170 is just the sprinkles for me.

Since you ladies have been on the program for a while now is there any advice?

WELL I HAD MY WEIGH IN.....I GAINED THIS WEEK I WAS AT 188.6 BUT IT IS MY T.O.M AND I AM VERY BLOATED! MY CONSULTANT SEEMS TO THINK THIS NEXT WEEK IS GOING TO BE A BIG NUMBER WEEK! I AM REALLY HOPING SO! MY GOAL THIS WEEK IS TO GET BACK INTO THE ROUTINE OF EXCERCISING. I KNOW THAT WILL START GIVING ME THE ENERGY AND MOTIVATION TO KEEP GOING!!!

COCO, HOW MANY HOURS A DAY ARE YOU UP TO (WORKING OUT)? YOU REALLY ARE AN INSPIRATION!

SHAY THE ONLY ADVICE I HAVE IS WHAT YOUR CONSULTANT PROBABLY HAS ALREADY TOLD YOU....YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT! IF YOU DECIDE TO SPLURGE / FALL OFF THE J.C. WAGON! JUST GET RIGHT BACK AND START IT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF! THAT HAS HELPED ME SO SO SO MUCH. #2 FIND AND SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT YOU AND WILL KEEP YOU MOTIVATED. #3 IF YOUR ANYTHING LIKE ME YOU FIND EXERCISE A LITTLE LESS THAN DESIRABLE (STARTING OUT I PRETTY MUCH HATED IT!!! LOL) BUT FIND SOMETHING YOU ENJOY DOING........AND REALIZE EVEN EVERY DAY ACTIVITIES CAN BURN CALORIES. MY FAVE ACTIVITIES YOGA, WALKING , WALKING WITH MY DOG ON THE BEACH (WORKS MY BUTT OFF), DANCING (I AM HORRIBLE BUT THATS WHATS SO GREAT ABOUT IT), AND YARD WORK / GARDENING!!! ALL GREAT ACTIVITIES THAT ARE VERY INEXPENSIVE. ANOTHER TRICK I DID WAS TALKING A PICTURE OF MYSELF EVERY 4-5 WKS (IT REALLY SHOWS THE CHANGES!!!)

WELL I SHOULD GET BACK TO WORK.......I JUST ENJOYED MY LOVELY CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP!

Hi all,

I work out for about an hour a day 7 days a week and I personal train twice a week. My goal weight is 140.0 right now I'm 157.4, 17.4 pounds to go. I do a lot of cardio running on the treadmill is the best thing. I'm trying to lose my muffin top too (stomach). To help lessen the weight gain around the TOM drink pure lemon juice the week before. Add the lemon juice to water. It helps a lot. Have a great week everyone.

The key to losing weight fast is CARDIO and excersing reguarly. I personal do it a lot, but do what's comfortable for you. Most importanly don't cheat. I started at 183.9 and now I'm down to 157.4. You can do it.

I have been on Jenny since July 8, but just got on here for the first time. I guess I can start with the basics!

I'm Lauren
Starting weight: 160.3
Goal weight: 133/135
Days till wedding: 101
Current weight: 153.9
Weigh in day: Tuesday

I was stuck at 154 for about a month and a half. It didnt seem to matter what I did, I just bounced around in 154. But I finally broke it! (by .1 but it counts!)

Hello! I'm so glad to see there's a board for brides to be. I'm new to this group but would really like to join and give and gain support from other brides to be! I am getting married in October 2009 and have refused to try on a single dress yet due to my recent 40lb weight gain!!! I have to take off the 40lbs and wouldn't mind taking off an extra 20 while I'm at it. I have a little under 9 months and want to get rid of this weight for good!
Can anyone tell me what a ticker is and how to get one? : )

I AM BACK!

FINALLY I AM BACK ON TRACK AND MY WEIGHT IS STARTING TO GO DOWN. I AM DOWN TO 185 LBS STILL HAVE 40 LBS TO GO. I JUST PURCHASED A TREADMILL AND AM SETTING IT UP AT MY HOUSE THIS WEEK. MY GOAL NOW IS TO DO AT LEAST 1 HOUR A DAY ON THE TREADMILL AND 3-4 DAYS OF YOGA (1 hr ea workout) IN ADDITION TO THE CARDIO.

COCO ~ WAY TO GO.....SO WHENS THE BIG DAY?? I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!

WELL TIME TO GET OFF MY BUTT AND START BEING "ACTIVE". LOL
