I love being on the program but I am in a pinch financially and cannot afford the food each week. Is anyone else in this same predicament?

I am having that same problem. I did the 20lb for $20 and lost about 14lbs. I paid for the program and now that I am employed and travel 40 miles to an from work in an suv is killing me. I did good at the beginning and I am up and down with my weight right now, but I hate I can't buy the food right now. angry.gif

Talk to your center.
They may let you buy just dinners and lunches without snacks or breakfasts. You can make your own healthy breakfasts if you watch your portion size and read your labels on breakfast cereal. Most of the time 1 cup is the portion size of cereals. Be sure to eat your salads, veggies and fruit and don't forget to drink enough water. I had to do without JC food while on vacation an still lost weight but I had to be careful. I was glad to get back to my JC foods! It is much easier to use JC foods. Without them temptation is very strong to slide back into old habits.

It depends on what program you sign up for. They are running the 10 pounds for $10 right now, but I paid for the year membership which is $399-they allowed me to do installment payments. Don't forget the cost of food-which averages about $115-135 a week.

4/1/2010- 184.70
4/26/2011- 147.2

When I joined I told them I couldn't afford the all the meals. I lost the 1st 10lbs quickly and now I'm at a stand still. My leader wants me to count my cal intake every day. I can't to that. That's why WW didn't work writing everything down. I'm averaging $50-60 per wk with my own breakfast and some dinners and lunches.

I have been logging my food into BodyBugg, and it it really working. it shows you how many calories you need to burn during the day. JC and BodyBugg together is a dream come true for me. BodyBugg is also a long term solution as you go off the JC program.

Well realistically you either have to eat 100% on plan or track it all somehow. How else can you ensure you are eating the correct amount?
If you cannot provide the data the center can't help.
There are lots of online or iphone tools that you can use to track what you eat quickly. My fitness pal, loose it, my fat secret et
