I don't know how to say this politely but .... The food makes me gassy. Anybody else have this problem ? I was wondering if the food has alot of preservatives or added chemicals ?

YES !! The stinkiest flatulence ever !!! And a ton of it !! If you read the labels on the Jenny foods, there are many additives unpronouncable, makes you go hmmmm?

and all this time i thought it was just me. I was blaming the greens in the salads. but guess it wasn't that.

Thanks for saying that someone else has this shall we say little problem.

Another vote for beano. I've noticed the gassy issue after the AT bar and the lunch salad. At dinner time I usually have steamed cabbage, broccoli or cauliflower. My family started avoiding me till I found beano!!!

I think its the veggies as on the weekends, I don't load up on the salad and veggies and don't notice the gassy issue.

Especially the meals with beans.....................I have to use GAS-X and that helps. It is embarrassing if you are sitting in a class or at a meeting and you just want to bust! They must had fillers or something that swells in your stomach as sometimes I can't finish a meal, I feel stuffed. All those salads do it also, lots of fiber.

OMG - I can't believe this thread.

I just say its Jenny talking. She has a lot to say some days.

Honestly, I don't do those kind of farts. I've never heard those kinds before nor do mine smell like that. Therefore I will not accept the blame.

I do laugh though...is that bad?

This is the funniest thread- ever!
Jenny Talking...Pfffffffffffffffft! That is SO funny!

Some, not all the foods do that to me. (Like today's lunch) The Southwest chicken & beans...ay! Caramba! Mucho stinko.

I think it's the fiber. Beans are loaded with fiber.

Thanks- I needed a good laugh to go along with my "one-man band" today!

This was the reason I stopped the program. The gas was so bad I couldn't take it any longer.

Can someone that has been doing the program for awhile share if it gets better or goes away?

I want to start again but can't deal with that!!

I seem to be okay now. Getting better. Although I noticed that overdosing on carrots is not a good thing for me.

I also stay away from anything from the JC menu with beans in it. Sort of like throwing gas on a fire.

LMAO...this is the funniest thread ever!!! I too thought it was just happening to me. I thought it was all the veggies too! I will have to give the beano a try.
It is good ammo for the hubby that is how I keep him off me sometimes, I say ooh babe I got the gas." It works he stays clear of me! lol
But is is embarrasing at times. When I was at school and a teacher came in I had just let one rip and it was not right!! I am sure that is why she asked her question and ran out!
I needed this laugh!!

I haven't experienced a lot of gas with the program myself and I am not a dietician, but it may be the fresh fruits and vegetables you are eating. For example, Are you eating cucumbers with your salads? They will give you gas. You might check with your Jenny Craig consultant. Good luck with the program!

me too, i am just finishing week 3 so i think its my whole body flushing, adjusting, and cleaning out the tioxin which have built up in my fat cells, lymph nodes and stomach. I think its a good thing, I don't think its because of bad stuff in the food because i feel so good. Be careful also you might be sub-consciencly seeking a reason to bsil on your awesome ecision to chang your lifestyle. Hang in their,
