Lisah,

What a great tool - thank you!! smile.gif

I have adjusted it for Canadian prices and additional menu items, bars. I do not know how to attach the link to this forum but if any Canuck's out there would like the file emailed, just let me know.

QUOTE(Lisah101 @ Feb 15 2008, 08:05 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I created this in excel to help me plan my menus. Anyone else who would like to can use it also. I use the first tab to plan my weekly menu, then the second tab to print it out and take to my JCC.

If you add new foods, click on the sort button when you are done. For some reason the VLookup that adds price and add ons won't work unless the list is sorted. I buy my own vitamins and thus don't use the anytime bars or multiplus. Let me know what you think.

Lisah, this ROCKS! I never would have thought of something like this, or even known how to make it work!!!

I managed to figure out your coding, and I added a column in for calories. I don't like peanuts, so if I want to swap out a Peanut Butter Bar..... I want to know the impact of choosing a Triple Chocolate Cheesecake over the Cheese Curls. smile.gif

Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to attach a file!!! Can anyone help? (Or if anyone wants a copy... drop a line and I can email it.)

Once again, thanks for the AWESOME spreadsheet Lisah!!!

LisaH,

According to one of your posts, were you able to add a weight graph to the spreadsheet? I love it and have been using it every week! Keep up the great work.

Hi - THis looks really cool. I am so frustrated with the Web menu's technical difficulties. This may be the answer. One question - Is this for 1200 calorie plan? (Looks like it maybe....) If so, does anyone know what I add to make it 1500?

Thanks BUNCHES!

I just posted the updated spreadsheet, but I'm a little nervous, I created it on a mac and haven't been able to see how that creating looks when viewed on a PC.

I can't upload files anymore, so back on the first post of this topic, at the bottom is a link to the spreadsheet where it's posted on iVillage.

Glad it helps!

Thanks Carol,

Creating the spreadsheet is the easy part for me... sticking to the plan and staying away from bread and good artisan cheese..... that's the hard part!

Hi!

I know your thread here is pretty old but I just found it and have to say AWESOME! You must have a lot of free time like I do but I didn't come up with something as thorough as this. It's August 2009 and a lot has changed w/JC (I'm talking prices!!). I just finished making all the changes and will be using this from now on. Thanks!!

Glad it was helpful to you. I haven't done JC in a while since my husband lost his job and we needed to cut back on expenses. I had lost most of the weight and am trying to do the last few pounds on my own by going to the gym a lot and making better food choices.

The prices must be way out of whack now, but I am glad people still find it helpful.

Thank you! This is so much more useful than the one on the website. It addresses the things that are important to people on the program (super user friendly, factors in the cost of food, options for using or not using Anytime Bars and JC Vitamins). Thank you so much for the time that you put into creating this fabulous tool and thank you for your willingness to share it with the rest of us.

I can't find my recipe from my WI on Sunday....

When I updated the prices and the items. Everything went down the tubes on the front page with the end totals. I looked at the formulas and they look right but they aren't totaling. Gosh, I'm so confused. I ONLY touched the yellow areas on the different tabs (the Breakfast, Lunch. Dinner....) Can someone help me get this straighten out? I appreciate the help, thanks so much!
