Has anyone tried the recipes from the JC cookbooks or online?
I made the Chunky Chicken Chili (from online) and loved it. I made it for my brother (super picky) and my husband (who will eat anything) and they both enjoyed it. My husband has actually asked me when I am going to fix it again. He never does this!! I am planning on trying the Mexican Chili-Cheese Burgers. Both my husband and brother keep bugging me to go ahead and fix them.
I was just wondering if anyone else had tried any of these recipes or could recommend any...

I've made a few things but I can't recall from which cookbooks, I have the old cookbooks from a few years ago, but anyway:
I've made the chocolate chip cookies on the website....they were too good if you know what I mean, I couldn't wait to finish them so I wouldn't have them around me all the time!!
MY absolute favourite is the carmelized onion pizza. It was made with riccotta and mozzarella mixed and then topped with carmelized onions. It was excellent.
I also made a tomato/wine mussel dish. That was also excellent. I find most of the recipies are a bit complex for me, especially since I generally just cook for myself, and it is far easier to just make some grilled chicken and side veggies/rice etc. than to cook an elaborate meal. But just writing this post has insipired me to cook something this weekend!!

I have just got to my halfway point. I would like to try the chunky chicken chile. When you said to go on-line, could you explain how I go about it. Do, I stay on the JC website?

Unfortunately, with the new launch of the website, not all of the recipes are currently available. You might want to post in the GENERAL forum (where most folks "hang out") that you're looking for a CHUNKY CHICKEN CHILE recipe. I'm fairly certain someone will have it. (I hate chile so I never copied down. Sorry.) :(

Have you tried the Caramel Apple Crumble from the Creative Recipes book????? It is AWESOME!!!!! -i use a granny smith apple and 2 generous spoonfuls of Splenda in mine, and I don't mix in the Toffee Cookies but rather put the crumbled cookies on top. It is really good! Like fresh apple pie!!!

I have tried many of the online recipes. The majority of them I liked. I hope they bring them back to the website soon.
Some of them I remember off the top of my head because I used to have a list on the favorites part of this website and right now it is not here:
  • White cake
  • Fudgy brownies
  • Oatmeal muffins
  • pork teryaki
  • black and white beans with peppers and onions
  • pepper pasta
B)

The Chunky Chicken Chili recipe is actually on the McCormick Spice site:
http://www.mccormick...cken-Chili.aspx

I have made it without the cinnamon and it's still super-tasty!

Steph - there are only a few online recipes that I can find right how - which bummed me out when I saw all these same posts about online recipes. the only ones I can find were in the JennySetGo page on learning to volumize. If you find out where there are more, I'd love to know.

Ladies, two of our JCers put together a bunch of recipes. There never were that many of them online to begin with but here are links to a couple of them that are really wonderful. Enjoy!

Please bring back the recipes to the JCweb site. I have been on JC for one year and met my goal weight in 13 weeks and have continued to stay at goal. May will be my 1 year anniversary at GOAL but would really love to have the recipes back on line to be able to continue on track.
