Laura if your from New York City area, your putting your post in the wrong area, you placed it under northern support. NYC is Eastern Support. Hope that help you alittle.

I am Alexandra, I live in Astoria Queens which is pretty close to the city. My JC center is actually in the 70s and 3rd avenue. This is my second time around on the program but this time its for good. How is it going for you. I am always looking for walking buddies in case you are interested. Hope to hear from you soon

My name is Katy and I am also from Astoria, Queens and my center is on Third Ave in the 3os. Just started Jenny on Wednesday and so far it seems too good to be true. I guess we will find out at weigh in. I would love to have walking and Jenny buddies.

I live in NYC and I am a returning member for the third time . they say the third time is a charm so here I am. Its always good to have someone to partner up with it really hard but we can do this either with a partner or alone . So far I have lost 14 pounds since march and im not stopping. Good luck to us all

I'm strongly thinking about joining the program. I live in Astoria and can't walk too fast but I would love to walk with you. I live on 28th street near Neptune diner, near the Triborough bridge. This is my first post, hope I'm "doing it right".

I'm from NY. I live in Manhattan. I've been on JC for several years now. I used to weigh almost 400 pounds. Now I weigh 225. I still need to lose another 50-60 pounds. But I feel great!!! I lost half my size!!!!!

Hey all, live in Brooklyn, work in downtown Manhattan and go to the bay Ridge Center, although I used to go (13 years ago, then I found out I was pregnant the same day I hit my goal) to the center in the 30s on 3rd. My consultant was a woman named Malika. I heard she was running a different center, has anyone heard of her?

I started in March and hit my 15 pound mark today. I have roughly 80-100 pounds, but I can only deal in increments of 20, so right now I have 5 pounds to goal!!!!! WOO HOO.

Hi, I'm Lisa from Long Island and definately looking for weight loss buddies. I've tried JC a few times and I'm back again. First few times I lost and then gained it back. This time I am starting again tomorrow and NEED to really be serious. Its so hard to do when the kids are eating something different. I find myself snacking and sometimes "tasting" their food. I want it off for good this time! Any suggestions to help keep you full?
