I noticed when I first started the program, my son was way more gassy than normal. but I attribute that more to the extra veggies I'm eating now. My doctor told me not to take the MultiPlus until I've stopped breastfeeding, though, because it has chromium in it. Are you taking it? Maybe that is making your baby sick.
How are you doing with the program? I've lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks, so I'm pretty happy!

So, I looked into it and here's what I found out: the most likely culprit is an increase in my dairy intake. Which makes 100% sense because my first daughter does not tolerate dairy well at all. Look on kellymom.com for more info about diet and nursing.
But, from what I understand, dairy is the number one thing that babies are sensitive to in their mothers milk. Soy is a distant second. Also, just to be clear: it is not the lactose!! It is the dairy protein itself.
My solution has been to only take in about 1/2 cup or so milk per day. Then I subsitute lean meat or soy milk for the remainder of the milk.
Good luck.
