I know it's a guy room - but I just have to tell my brother about y'all and get him going with Jenny Craig after reading your posts in here. He almost is ready to give in - not sure though. He's a bit of a recluse working out of his home. Does anyone here do a home program of Jenny Craig?

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to Check in! I love Jenny Craig, the food is SO good, the first week was hard as I was hungry, and it gets Easier Each week. Thanks for all your coaching and suggestions. I find that now, I am hardly hungry at all and have to make myself eat ALL the food! Wow! Could it be my stomach has shrunk? "grin" Anyway, The food is so good. I use almost all frozen foods as I think they taste the best, but that is my humble opinion! Did both cheese cakes leave, I know one of them was temporary. Bummer, they are so good. How about dinning out? Do you know if they have a guide for the fast food places, etc. I am getting ready to travel and didn't know if any fast food chain had anything healthy? Jenny's Sunshine Sand is only 190 Cal and delicious and McDonalds Egg McMuffin is 300 calories! Too bad huh? Oh well, I am down 30 lbs in a month! Can you believe? I guess it's becuase I have so much to lose. Start weight was 376, Now 346, next weight in Tuesday. I am starting to lose about 1 - 2 lbs. a week, which is fine, they say that is healthy????? Just know it's working and I am satisified and eating healthy and losing weight! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Thanks again, Dan

Just sticking my nose in for a moment.
Ya'll are doing GREAT! I'm trying to get my DH onto JC, but he's really stubborn about it. After 25 years of being married to him, I'm kind of stubborn too - just whittlin' away at him.
The TCC was a temporary item, BUT, you know women and their chocolate. There's a Petition thread for the TCC. Make sure to head on over there and put in your two cents worth.
The Cookies and Cream Cheesecake is a regular item.
Keep on losin'!

Hey all!
I just weighed in today. I was only down .6 lbs. It looks like I am starting a pattern of a good week and then a slow week. Anybody else experiencing this? Oh well, at least I'm still losing.
Good luck everybody!

I don't think 'nagging' your hubby to join will work. I find I have to be ready to lose weight MYSELF, and no outside pressure will keep me on this or any program. I have to be mentally in the mind set to do what I always KNOW is the right thing to do.

Thanks! That's exactly how he is - so I'll leave him alone. He'll either change his ways or I'll be a widow (he's about 80 lbs overweight and takes heart/cholesterol meds).

Down 4.7 at Saturday's weigh in. I had to go out yesterday and buy new pants!! Woohoooooo! I've dropped 4 inches (2 pants sizes!!!) I keep drilling new holes in my belts.
I've "strayed" from JC for a few meals, but luckily I've arranged my other meals to compensate, so it hasn't been a total disaster.
I don't post much, but I've been watching everyone's progress. Everyone is doing great!!!

Good news Kevin ! I need to do a little shopping myself but I'm trying to hold off a little longer. I don't want a bunch of "in between" clothes. My old pants are really baggy though, people probably think I'm trying to look like a teenager...LOL
BTW folks- If you put your ticker link in the body of your message as an image file it will work, doesn't work as part of the signature because they have UBB images turned off in the signature.

Weighed in yesterday and lost another 4.1 lbs. Total loss so far is 32 lbs. I really felt bad for my wife though because she gained 1 pound and it made her feel bad. But, yesterday was measuring day as well and I have lost a total of 17 inches and my wife has lost 15 inches.
I am trying this tracker thing for the first time, I hope it comes out right and I still haven't figured out how you all get the GW, CW and all the other info to show up in your signature or post. If I don't figure it out on my own, I hope someone will give me the Information for Dummies version of how to do it.

Good loss. I know what you mean about the Wifey factor, mine never loses as much as I do and it makes me sad for her. The good thing is, she is steadily losing and that is all that really matters.
The signature info types in under your "my profile" page. Just put it in the box and make sure you save the changes and mark the "show signatures" opton box when you make a post.

Someonehasmyname, Thanks for the information. We will see how it works with this post. Also thanks for the encouraging word! This is great to have other guys that are on the program to talk to. Keep up the good work yourself, looks like you are getting pretty close to your GW!

Great job guys!
I finally made it over the elusive hump of halfway! I was down 3.3 this week for a total of 61.5 in seven months. It feels great. Its given me even more motivation to move forward.
My counselor is putting together a volumizing recipe "book". She is getting all the ideas from JC clients. I will post it or attach it as soon as she wraps it up.

Wow...61.5 in seven months, that is awsum. One of you guys that have lost a bunch should contact corporate about being a spokesman. They are missing the boat on not courting us guys for weight loss. Everyone I talk to says " I thought JC was for women". They have no idea they can join.
This program could be tweeked a little here and there and be perfect for men. Especially single men who can't cook.
