I've been creeping down in my weight loss and haven't understood why. I was doing so well at the beginning and then I started being ounced to death! Haha, I know I am very grateful to be rid of those ounces, then a light went off! I was eating too much fruit! I had bananas and oranges and grapes and strawberries. I stayed within my portion sizes. I also started implementing fruit drinks, the natural low sodium low sugar kind. I thought wow, I'm doing so well and staying on plan. Then I started tracking....dun dun dun....I realized those "fruit servings" were adding hundreds of calories to my low calorie diet. AH HA, I figured it out! Then I lost a pound this week!!!! I cut my fruit servings in half and am right back on track. I know this isn't advice for everyone but my body just doesn't metabolize sugars like others. I am so happy that I figured this out.On a more personal note, my husband and I have come to the decision to hold off on family planning for 2 years. This way we can mourn and move on from this sad news we were presented with. Jesus is lord and he will provide all answers and guidance. I hope y'all had a blessed Easter. We spent it with my mom's GIANT Italian family. They LOVE to eat. That is not an understatement. They even told me I'm not eating enough and I'm too skinny. EXCUSE ME?! I am not too skinny, I still have over 40lbs to lose. Those crazy Italians, I tell ya. Thank y'all for the amazing support you have provided me and HAPPY THURSDAY!
