............ sooooooooooooooooooooo I went to my JC appointment on Tuesday morning and  although I felt pretty good about the week, I had also felt that way last week only to gain; so once again had no expectations. I jumped on the scales and lost...

So I've been away for a couple weeks, working hard on my diet, only to go in for my appointment, in anticipating of hopefully hearing good news, but fearing .... yes fearing .... bad news. Sure enough I gained less than a pound! What's up with that?

Should I be sad, glad, perplexed, ignore it, move on and just not think about it?...

Wow .. so I went in to JC today with ZERO expectations. If you've been following me, you know that I lost 16lbs week 1 but I was very sick and of course the assumption was that some of that would come back once I started taking in fluids again etc. So today, I told myself that if I'd gained, it was OK, because I'd still be in the negative which...

OMG I realized tonight that I'm really not in Kansas anymore.

So a couple months ago I bought Zumba because I LOVE to DANCE!!!! I thought, "It will be perfect for me... I can do something I love while getting exercise and it won't even feel like it!"  You might ask why it took me a couple months to try it, well...

..... So I had a crappy week with being sick and just not eating normally, I therefore, had very few expections for this week. I hoped to lose, but really if I didn't I would understand and I certainly didn't expect to gain. I was just hoping to maintain.

Here I am day 7, still under the weather with this blasted sinus infection (...if that's what it is), food still doesn't taste great and this week I'll not have to buy all the meals from JC because there were several I just couldn't eat. Last night I felt like I was feeding my two labs when they are sick, I ate some plain white rice, boiled...

So today is March 9th and though I started this journey with JC on Monday, I came down with a serious sinus infection that derailed me ... however, not in the eating sense, food as a matter of fact, didn't even appeal, but V8 juice did, weird right? I wouldn't wish on anyone what I came down with on Tuesday and am just now able to sit up for any...
